Spring has sprung
Dress: Zara
Hat: Urban Outfitters
Spring has sprung, and it's a great time to get out there and shoot.
The gold sunset was all the light needed for this shoot.
I was able to make some beautiful photos with this magic light.
Fashion in the snow
We have been getting hammered by snow storms here in the north east.
What do you do when you are a photographer?
You make the best of the situation and shoot some photos.
Make the best of what you have and have fun
Simple Commercial product photos
Three product photos made simple
Photo one was the most simple just a pair of vans on a counter top.
The photo is almost all black and white with the red vans logo.
Although a very simple photo I wanted to make sure the photo had some kind of link to skateboarding.
I placed the black skaters cover of thrasher magazine in the background along with a poloroid camera. Two things I love skating and photography.
Photo two was a little more work.
I am also a big fan of anime and for sure dragon ball.
I used thread to hang the shoe above the figures, and I masked out the thread in photoshop.
Photo three
I wanted to have separation so I put one shoe a little higher than the other and boom!
Use anything you have in the studio (home) to sit the product on to bring closer to the lens, and try to use a wide aperture on the lens. The effect will make your products stand out.
Love and business
Hey everyone I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Family and business can work, as long as you have a clear understanding. My wife and I have been working together for the better half of ten years, and married for almost thirteen years.
My wife is my makeup artist, my planner, my second shooter and my main model. She is an amazing makeup artist and wig maker.

Central Park sunset photoshoot
I love sunset shoots. The golden hour (well really minutes) are so beautiful. The shoot was all natural no strobes. I knew I wanted to shoot in central park, but for some reason the day did not start out so well.
I got into central park around three, and it was an overcast day which usually would be great. This was not the case on this day. No matter what I tried I could not get the look I had envisioned. I wanted that toned down fall look. The spots I was trying did not have the right light they were too bright in one section and too dark in others. The area was right, but that was about it.
Fashion photography in harsh mid-day sun
You will hear from so many photographers that shooting in the mid-day sun is the worst. I for one do not believe that. The time of day has nothing to do with the way your photo turn out. there is good light and bad light, simple as that.
I shot these photos at freedom tower in Manhattan, NYC. No flash, just me and the sun. I used the white of the skeletal sculpture has fill light, and the sun as a key light and that's it.
I used 24-70 at 24 to distort the perspective to get the look I wanted.
When you think you have the wrong light... you just might lol. All jokes aside
all you have to do is find the good light for what it is you want to shoot and boom there you go.
Pink dress photo shoot
This photo shoot was taken at the celery farm in New Jersey. I wanted to have a real contrast between the dress and the environment, and I felt the pink and green would have a great juxtaposition.

Break out the camera and get to work.
Beach photo shoot
I wanted to do something a little different with this photoshoot.
The beach is the perfect place to get out of your comfort zone.
Street Fashion in NYC
The aesthetic of NYC just can't be beat. NYC has that grit that is very hard to find anywhere in the world.
Brooklyn Brooklyn Brooklyn! What more can I say Brooklyn, my home town will always be amazing to shoot photos in. These photos where taken by the Williamsburg Bridge.

I had to take these shots in Manhattan. I love the meat packing high line area of the city.
The area has a warmer color tone. Most of the buildings and surroundings have a either red or brown,
and those tones contrast well with blue jeans.
